Ohhh, what a mess. I have a collection of Steiff, and I can sympathize.

First, I fully agree with the proposal of the previous posters that you are at Steiff Inc., CS very well and I am sure that you have faced similar dilemmas in the past ... and probably much worse than the lipstick!

If for some reason can help, that what I * do * to ... There is a product called "Motsenbocker Lift-Off # 2" (sounds like one days old'n, eh ;-)

This product is slightly away .... by ... almost everything. * * It is to remove the lipstick and the theory that since the color / material safe ... (which is often used in carpets and upholstered furniture), would be appropriate for Teddy Precious.

I'm sure you know that no matter what good ... it will not be perfect, but we hope to clean and stain-free ... To show results in its power once again.

Here is the place where you can buy the "words.".. is $ 15.19 for 47 oz:

I hope this is helpful .. Good luck!

Washable items to glycerin or vaseline, use after scraping more. For non-washable items with a proprietary stain remover. As a valuable object that is to seek professional advice. Try contacting Steiff.com. Good luck.
